Trading Post Dates: Thursday Oct 1 – Saturday Oct 3, 2026
Where: Washington County Fairgrounds / Legacy Park, 5500 700 S St, Hurricane, UT
Our market hours: 3–7 PM daily, with the option to stay open until 10 PM until the music fest ends (do not leave your booth unattended, we are not responsible for your goods).
Setup time: Arrive between 11:30 AM–1 PM on Thursday. BRING WAGONS TO TRANSPORT YOUR GOODS.
Cost to the public: Free entry, so expect big crowds
Move-In: Step by Step (Thursday)
- Arrive from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. Do not arrive before 11:30 AM.
- Check in with us at the Southern Utah Market Trading Post tent before you unload. We'll show you to your spot.
- Drive up to GATE 1, unload fast, and move your vehicle. Unload everything at your spot, then park in the general parking lot before you start setting up. This keeps the lane clear for the vendors behind you.
- Set up your booth. Tent, tables, chairs, weights, everything you need for set-up is all on you.
- Weight down everything. Hurricane wind is no joke, and the fairgrounds are on asphalt and gravel, so stakes won't work. Bring sandbags, buckets, or tent weights.
- Be display-ready by 2:30 PM. Vehicles can't enter after that, and doors open at 3 PM. You must move your car away from Gate 1 by 2 PM.
Nightly Tear-Down and Day 2 and 3
- We suggest breaking down EVERYTHING each night. You can collapse your tent and chairs and keep them in your space but we recommend taking everything down. If your tent flies overnight and causes any damage to anything including surrounding vehicles, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO COVER COST ASSOCIATED WITH DAMAGES.
- Take all product home every night. The fairgrounds are fenced but the gates stay unlocked overnight, and neither Trail Hero nor Southern Utah Market is liable for theft or weather damage.
- Set Up for Friday Only vendors will begin at 11:30 AM, same rules apply for unloading.
What to Know Before You Come
- No power, no water. Bring batteries, a power bank, and your own water. We need to know IN ADVANCE, by September 28 if you're planning to bring a GAS GENERATOR if we don't hear from you we will assume you do not have a generator or it is solar and fume-free.
- Clear bag policy. Beer is being served, so everyone entering needs a clear bag, and vehicles are searched at the gate.
- No alcohol in your coolers, and you can't hand out or sell drinks from your booth.
- Cash and card. Bring a charged card reader and cash for change. Service can be spotty with big crowds. Bring your own hot spot for internet.
- Power Hour, 5–6 PM: Trail Hero asks vendors to offer their deepest discounts during this hour. It's a big traffic driver, so plan a deal.
- Music fest, 7–10 PM: Staying open is optional, but the crowd stays on site.
- Dress warm. October nights in Hurricane get cold once the sun drops.
- No Soliciting/ Promotion of other events - Soliciting of any kind at our events is PROHIBITED. Vendors are NOT allowed to have flyers for other events at their booth or on their tables.
What to Bring Checklist
- 10x10 tent with weights or straps
- Tables, chairs, and tablecloths
- Bins or tarps for overnight covering
- Wagon or dolly for hauling
- Card reader, charged power bank, internet hot spot, cash box
- Lighting for after dark (battery/ solar powered)
- Clear bag, water, snacks, layers
Security
Security & Sheriffs will be on-site throughout the event. Southern Utah Market has hired it's own security as well. Our staff is staying on site and walking the property periodically.
Southern Utah Market & Trail Hero are not responsible for your goods. Vendors are liable for their set ups and belongings when their booth is unmanned.
Additional Notes
- We will have your 2 FREE VIP bracelets at our Southern Utah Market booth. If you purchased Friday Only Vendor Pass you will be getting 2 FREE GA tickets.
- If you zoom out fully on the master show layout, you can find our location in front of the track grandstands right outside of the VIP gates.
