“The reciprocation that we’re getting from the community to support local businesses is just unlike anything I’ve ever seen before,” Southern Utah Market owner and founder Jordan Verdadeiro told St. George News.

The Southern Utah Market has been popping up all over the region, teaming up with local businesses to throw events packed with goods from local artisans. It’s become such a hit that they now have a permanent location with a brand-new brick-and-mortar store, allowing people to shop without waiting for an event.

“I’m just so grateful for this community,” Southern Utah Market owner Jordan Verdadeiro said. “I feel like I sound redundant saying that because I say it so much, but they have shown up for us and all of the artists that we have had here since our first market. We wouldn’t be here, we wouldn’t have a store and we wouldn’t have these markets if it wasn’t for them.” - ST. GEORGE NEWS
